Building Technology That Makes a Difference

For most of my professional life, I have been drawn to organizations that leverage the principles of engineering and technology to solve seemingly intractable problems in research and the sciences. From making clinical trials move faster from inception to approval to bleeding edge advances in medical imaging, from machine learning algorithms for predictive analysis of genetic edits to enabling RNA production at industrial scales, I've been at the center of some amazing projects. While I was never trained formally in the sciences, I've worked closely with scientists my entire career, and I've learned a great deal along the way.
